Valentine's Day
We are pretty mellow when it comes to Valentine’s Day around here. I have always told Matt not to get me flowers because the grocery markets always up the prices, but I went to Trader Joe’s with a friend the day before & had to get these gorgeous roses! If you all are lucky enough to have a Trader Joe’s nearby, their flowers are the best & their prices are always low. I bought two bundles of roses & two bunches of eucalyptus stems (best filler ever) for $25.
Oliver had a Valentine’s Day party with his first grade class & so Matt took off part of the day to come to it & help out where we were needed. Afterwards, we went to get a coffee & home where Ollie saw his Valentine’s balloon & a card with a $5 Starbucks gift card for a few cake pops. I also got Matt a card with a Starbucks gift card & he got me a card with an organization book (which I LOVE). All in all, we had a mellow day & it was perfect to kickstart a three day weekend. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
