October has such a special place in my heart. This is the time when the leaves really start to turn their magnificent colors & the outside air smells of smoking chimneys. Growing up in Hawaii, you never get to experience all the different seasons. So, it is always a treat for me to see the leaves turn new colors & the air start to get cooler. I have been seeing some of my friends post this quote from Anne of Green Gables, "I'm so thankful I live in a world where there are Octobers". I couldn't agree more!
October is also when my little Oliver turned 4 months. I am loving every minute that I have been given with this little guy! He is pure joy & has such a contagious smile. My favorite times are when I go into his room to get him out of bed & he just looks up with this huge grin! Just in the past couple days he has really started holding his head up on his own & enjoys looking at everything. Some of his favorite things are looking at himself in the mirror, putting blankies in his mouth, going on walks in his jogger, car rides & looking up at his jungle gym toys!
Last weekend, we met up with Matt's sister Sara & her family at the pumpkin patch. It was Oliver's first time seeing a pumpkin & he even
helped
watched dad pick one out for us to take home. Although, right after this picture he got super cranky & had enough of pictures & pumpkins... He was hungry :) After feeding Oliver & going on a little country drive, we topped off our evening with Sara's family, watching The Hunger Games & eating pizza with chocolate & coconut popcorn for dessert! Delish!
