At Home with Serena & Lily

We have finally moved & let me just tell you that moving with a kid is tough.  Not to mention having your husband start work full time right after we got here!  So it has been just me unpacking, decorating & organizing.  I love the challenge, but sometimes it does get overwhelming, but as always, coffee has been my lifesaver!

Over the past few days, I have slowly started to make each room feel cozy & relaxing!  One room that I knew I needed to finish to keep me sane, was the master bedroom!  I got rid of a lot of our things in Virginia & it helped so much in making this space feel more minimal!  For our room, I wanted to create an effortless & relaxing atmosphere, yet feel grownup.  I usually start my decorating process from one item in the room & for me, it was our bed!

I received my new Serena & Lily duvet cover a few weeks ago & couldn’t wait to put it on our bed!  It has a mix of gray, white & black, pretty much my favorite non-colors :)  Let me just tell you that Serena & Lily do not skimp out on their quality.  I have some of their towels & they are AMAZING!  And this duvet is truly a luxury bedding item!

The duvet cover is beyond soft & is part of their coastal line, which anything coastal is relaxing!  The duvet is made out of 100% cotton sateen, 300 thread count & after I washed & dried the duvet cover, it was as comfy as ever.  It was so hard to pick from all their duvet covers (because I wanted them all), but I chose the Gramercy Duvet Cover.  It fits really well with the minimal & relaxing atmosphere I wanted, yet gave a sophisticated look.  It has tiny dots that are in a chevron style!  What really drew me to this Serena & Lily duvet cover was that it is extremely versatile for my lifestyle.  I am always changing things around ever since I can remember ( I thank my mom for her creativeness) & with this duvet I can do so much!  Whether it is changing out the pillow shams, putting different blankets on to change the feel or if it is to just redecorate the room, this duvet cover is perfect for that.

Lastly, Serena & Lily have been so generous & are offering 15% off to you all if you use code:  ‘DUVETLOVE-DN’.  I highly recommend their products, not only because they are beautiful, but their quality is unbeatable.  I have loved my towels & now I am loving my duvet because I know that they will last.  Matt & I have really been focusing on quality & not quantity & saving for those items that will last a long time.

Thank you all for reading & I will be posting more room reveals as the weeks go by & we start to really make it cozy & inviting :)  Here are some links you can click on to get more information!
