Face + Hands + Body
Recently, I received some face & body lotion to try out from Sebamed & Artdeco. I actually have never heard of them until they reached out to me, so before I said yes, I wanted to do a little research. My mom works in the make-up/beauty industry & she is always warning me against parabens & other chemicals that aren't great for your face & so that is the first thing I checked up on & was excited when I found out that they were paraben free! I also read that they are cruelty free, soap free, animal friendly & vitamin enriched. So, I accepted & was excited to start using the products!
I wanted to try them out for you guys before I just wrote up a review & so I have had them for a couple months. My skin is just really weird sometimes & that is why it took me so long because I didn't want to just test them for a week without seeing any results, if there were any. I have combination skin. Some dry spots (part of my forehead & side of my nose), oily spots (top of my forehead, chin & top of my nose) & then I'm normal everywhere else! So, pretty weird spots that I have to target. I recently switched face cleansers (I've tried them all basically) & right now I am using Kate Somerville which I absolutely love & for my face cream I have been using the Sebamed moisturizing face cream & also the Artdeco Skin Yoga caps (anti-wrinkle gel caps). Both of those products make my skin feel super soft afterwards & I feel like they really have moisturized my face (especially I've noticed my dry patches slowly going away!!!).
I have been washing my face twice daily, once in the morning & again at night (let's not count the nights I totally spaced & slept with my make-up still on...BAD! haha). I start by wetting my face, then put a tiny amount of cleanser in my hands & rub together & then cleanse my face in upwards motions. After I rinse with cold water, then pat dry. I then break an Artdeco anti-wrinkle capsule & rub all over my face & follow it up with the Sebamed face cream. That's it! Two times a week, I exfoliate my face in the shower (I feel like the steam helps re-hydrate my face while exfoliating).
Some other products they sent me were their Sebamed moisturizing body lotion and their hand & nail balm. The thing that I really like about these products is that they are great for people that have sensitive skin! So, even if you don't have sensitive skin, it is still a plus knowing that you aren't using anything harsh. All in all, I really have loved their products & it always is nice to know that they help balance your pH in your skin!
If you guys have any questions, feel free to comment below or email me & I would be happy to answer them!
