Picking our Christmas Tree

Last week I won a giveaway on instagram for a baby/kids scarf!  The company is called  Finomenally Clothed (just click on their name & it will take you to her cute Etsy shop!) & the owner, Amanda, makes the cutest little infinity scarves which would be perfect for a Christmas gift!  This is Oliver "modeling" one of her scarves.  The scarf is super soft & the perfect fit!  I was worried that he wouldn't like wearing it (he has a thing about stuff touching his neck), but he didn't mind it at all!  I am definitely going to be purchasing another since it is starting to get colder.

On Saturday, Matt took a break from studying & we bought our Christmas tree!  This Christmas season has been so fun with Oliver being almost 18 months!  He loves looking at all the twinkle lights in our house & reading the nativity story.  Although, he isn't really old enough to fully comprehend what Christmas is really about, we still pray with him & tell him that Jesus was a baby just like him!

our tree!

Yesterday, while Matt was studying, we decided to make him some gluten free cookies!  Of course, we had to make them dairy free too, that way mom could enjoy a few ;)  Oliver loved helping & even let me put on Matts santa apron on him!  I let Ollie put the ingredients in the bowl & stir away.  I found this  almond flour chocolate chip cookies recipe on a cute blog named Meaningful Eats.  So if you want this delicious recipe, go over to her blog!  We all pretty much devoured these, they were THAT good!

Happy Monday!
